Kathy’s nursing career began as an LPN in long-term care and Assisted Living Facilities. She then went back to nursing school to obtain her associate’s degree in nursing and then bachelor’s degree in 2016. She has worked in the hospital on the medical surgical/ortho unit, as a telephonic case manager for a managed care insurance company and in Skilled Home Health. Kathy’s passion for nursing comes from her love of working with people and helping them by making a positive difference in their lives. She was born and raised in Richmond and has one grown son. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling to different places.
