We are seeking a talented and driven Controller to join our leadership team during this exciting period of growth. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to build a team, create financial infrastructure, and establish themselves as a future financial leader within a fast-growing, mission-driven organization.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll processes for the organization
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Provide budget analysis and financial review for management
- Partner with HR to manage 401(k), payroll, and compensation plans
- Manage banking relationships, oversee cash investment, borrowing, and asset management property filings
- Consult with outside CPAs on tax returns, internal controls, strategic initiatives, and other filings
- Represent the practice to financial partners, including banks, insurers, auditors, and vendors
- Review and improve internal processes and controls
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to translate financial concepts into actionable business insights
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software
Education and Experience
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3-5+ years of financial experience with increasing responsibility and leadership
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and MS Excel
- CPA certification preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits
