Personal Care Aide
Join Our Team as a Personal Care Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant
At Home Harmony, we are dedicated to transforming care for frail and vulnerable seniors, enabling them to thrive in the comfort of their homes. We are currently seeking self-motivated and compassionate aides to provide 1:1 personal care for private-pay patients in their homes.
Position Overview
As an Aide, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Personal Care, ensuring that each patient receives safe, high-quality, and individualized support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized and appropriate care in accordance with the individualized plan of care.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Support meal preparation and assist patients with eating.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
- Identify and escalate areas of concern to the Clinical Team to ensure patient well-being.
Qualifications & Skills
Our ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in personal care and possesses the following:
✔ CNA certification in the state of Virginia / PCA Certified
✔ Strong communication and time management skills
✔ Flexibility and reliability in scheduling and patient needs
✔ Compassion, empathy, and physical strength to support patient mobility
✔ Commitment to delivering high-quality care
